About the FOCUS Seminar
Many people suffer needlessly with hormonal imbalances. This seminar will focus on how to assess and manage hormone imbalances.
More and more people (especially women) are being diagnosed with osteoporosis. It is very important for alternative doctors to understand what the diagnosis means and what medications our patients are given.
Topics will include:
- Hormone vitamin D – are mega doses healthy? How much is too much?
- How hormones impact our mood, heart and bone health
- Thyroid, adrenal & sex hormones
- What effects do birth control pills have on a woman’s endocrine system?
- Nutrition balancing to alleviate hormone imbalance
- Risks and benefits of osteoporosis medications
- Bone quality versus bone density
- What is the difference between osteoporosis and bone quality?
- Can we rely on bone density testing to be accurate?
- What is the connection with osteoporosis and heart disease?
